Grants and Independent Project Fund
Financial assistance, technical assistance and material support are important to our enterprise since our aim is to provide quality and affordable educational tools, products and services. EduTrust Foundation explores the following options for funding and support. We remain open to other forms of support by our partners and suggestions for enhancing our resource mobilisation results.
Grants and Independent Project Fund
These are non-refundable financial assistance from donors and partners which is channeled to implementing grassroots projects and special projects. The arrangement ensures that partners’ support or official development assistance (ODA) has direct impact on the wellbeing of grassroots communities, populations and targeted beneficiaries.
Grants are usually tied to specific national or state government projects or proposals developed in line with requirements of the donor or partner. An agreement is signed to make EduTrust Foundation implementing partner of the project or part of a consortium of implementing partners and/or service providers. Other grants may not be tied to a specific project but support or facilitate an initiative in the education sector in a specific location. Where they are untied, our team will ensure that the grant is channelled to areas of significant need and where it would have the desired impact.
