EduTrust Educational Trust Foundation ("EduTrust", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to respecting your privacy, protecting your personal data, and maintaining strict transparency in all educational and charitable activities.

This Privacy Policy details how we collect, handle, store, and process personal information when you browse our website, register for volunteer initiatives, apply for fellowships, or contribute through financial donations in full compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).

We only collect personal information that you intentionally and voluntarily submit to us:

Contact & Identity Data: Full name, email address, telephone number, and residential state when contacting us or subscribing to newsletters.

Contribution Data: Donation amounts, transaction references, and payment methods. Sensitive card data is processed directly via PCI-DSS compliant gateways (e.g., Paystack) and is never retained on our servers.

Participant & Volunteer Data: Educational qualifications, NYSC status, curriculum vitae, and deployment preferences for volunteers and fellows.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

All collected data is utilized exclusively for legitimate foundation operations:

  • Processing donation receipts, acknowledgment letters, and accounting reconciliations.
  • Screening, deploying, and communicating with volunteers and fellowship applicants.
  • Sending periodic foundation impact reports, progress summaries, and event invitations.
  • Ensuring technical stability, security, and spam prevention across our platforms.

4. Data Protection & Security Safeguards

We deploy modern SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption protocols, administrative access controls, and restricted databases to safeguard all personal details against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.

5. Third-Party Disclosures

EduTrust does not sell, rent, or trade your personal details under any circumstances. We share information only with trusted technical service providers (e.g. licensed payment gateways, secure cloud hosts) solely to execute requested services under strict confidentiality agreements.
